Summer CD Progress Update

It’s been quite a while since my last update. In fact, it’s been almost 7 months. What in the world have I been doing these months? Good question!
Most of all, I’ve just been really busy with school and I also have the rest of my life’s adventures to go along with the summer. One of the positives of this summer has been earning some extra money. I’ve had the opportunity to help quite a few people with a variety of tasks from logo design to pet sitting. In fact, I almost have enough to fund the CD! Yes you heard that right… it’s a lot of money. But I still need a little more. If you want to help with the funding process, I’d gladly appreciate it. I do logo design, web design, book cover art, and much more. Feel free to contact me, and I’ll give you a very reasonable quote.
Summer CD Progress Update
CD-wise, the music is going absolutely fantastic. I’ve been given opportunities to play my songs at different places; it’s really been a neat experience. It’s encouraged me to practice and finalize some more songs. So far, I have 8 – 9 songs in total that are in the polishing stage and a few more that are coming along. I’m aiming for 11-12 songs or 35+ minutes of playing time on the CD.
So, in essence, I’m planning on finalizing all songs by Sukkot (October 14-ish) and practice them from then on until I record. When’s that going to be? Well, flights are really expensive in December, so if not November, it’ll probably have to be January. I was hoping for a pre-release date in January, but we’ll see.

As I finish my songs, I’ll post videos of me playing some of them. They should be the final, polished versions and you’ll get to hear some new ones!

Other things you may want to know…
How much will the CD cost? $12 on my website.
How much will the CD cost during pre-ordering time? $10 or $11. You’ll even get discounts if you buy more than one!
When is the Official release date for the CD? I don’t know and will not know until I raise enough money in pre-order sales to get the CDs in production. If everything goes well, it should be one or two months after the pre-ordering started.
When can we pre-order the CD? Hopefully in January.
