The last two days recording at Piano Haven has been a blast! Joe is an awesome guy to work with—besides making the sessions really easy going and efficient, he was also so helpful in answering all of about a billion and one questions and giving me valuable tips in the music industry. Thanks Joe! A special thanks to my Dad for his support in staying a couple nights in Sedona to allow me to record. Thanks Papa! And thank you all SO much for your support and prayers… we definitely managed to lay down some pretty awesome tracks.

My Sister Leah and I in Canada

Due to a death in the family, we had to push the recording dates ahead one month from the February dates (18th and 19th of March). Next week, I will have the privilege of recording the much anticipated solo piano album! I really can’t wait to finally be able to listen to and distribute the music that has been in the works all these years.

In the mean time, I have been blessed with three web design contracts. The funds from these will allow the purchasing of the CDs without requiring pre-order sales—that definitely is a plus.

I really desire that whole venture will glorify Yah in every way possible. I ask for your prayers that everything would go smoothly during the recording process and also for guidance and creativity throughout the whole scope of this venture. Though this is a business, we must remember that whatever we do, we must glorify our Father and make every bit of it part of our God-given life purpose.

Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the esteem of Elohim. 1 Corinthians 10:31

After much prayer and patience, I’ve been able to secure 2 days in February to go record at Piano Haven Studio. Although he used to be located way up in Washington state, I am very fortunate that Joe has actually relocated his recording studio down here in Arizona! The best part is—it’s only a little more than an hour and half away—by ROAD.

We now have a real, acoustic piano!! (Thanks Papa!) And I’ve also been able to meet someone who owns a piano store down in Phoenix—the same man who sold us our upright acoustic piano. He kindly let me play on his beautiful Kawai RX-7 grand which is the same piano I’ll be playing on to record my first album. (Which by the way is the most amazing piano I have ever played. Wow.)
